painting with children

This book is being reprinted. We will have it back in stock in May, 2021.

This practical guide for parents and teachers is based on Goethe's color theory showing that painting with children is more than just a form of self-expression. The book leads you through the steps to create a peaceful environment in which children discover the magic found in water and light. While learning the Waldorf technique of wet-on-wet watercolor painting, you will discover how this process can be a lovely invitation to play with color.

A must-have for homeschooling, daycare, or any foray into watercolors with children. Excellent resource, easy to use in my homeschool curriculum, and really touched my heart with the included verses and activities.

okay but.....

I didn't learn as much from this book as I would have liked. I would recommend spending money on quality art materials rather then this book.

This is a lovely and uplifting book, and I find it useful in understanding the philosophy of color theory and of technique. It is not a book containing project ideas.
