A favorite for sure

There is no doubt that Fagus toys are pricey, but once you take the bait and buy one, you will know they are worth it. The wood is so strong and durable, but also so smooth to the touch, they are just wonderful to play with. Plus, they are designed so that you can steer them and this digger has knobs to turn to work the shovel. Operating the shovel takes coordination and thought and it took my son a few tries to figure out how to use the two knobs simultaneously to maneuver the shovel to lift and dump, but that's the great part. You can see the wheels in his head working as he problem solves to figure it out. Now he is a pro and uses this to scoop and drop blocks, small toys, whatever will fit in the shovel. Great toy!
