Lovely, Open-Ended for Play and Learning

I purchased this letter building set for my son to play with and eventually use as a tool for letter-learning. So far it's been a surprise hit, he plays with the pieces every day, building two-dimensional pictures and patterns on the floor with them. The set is lovely, however it is very small for the price. I still think it was worth it, as my kid has loved it so much and it's clearly useful for more that just letter learning, but I might be wary of the price if I wasn't planning on using it for years in the future. It also smells lovely, which was a nice surprise (just a natural wood smell)!
