This science kit allows your child to experiment with how heat can be converted into electrical energy and use that energy to power a small car. In this case the heat comes from a tea light candle and the reservoir of cold water above it provides the temperature differential. It's a great way for homeschoolers and other children to directly experience this sort of electricity generation when they're covering it in their studies. Please use caution when operating this car as it uses a lit candle to generate heat.
