Children will enjoy exploring all sorts of facts about eggs far beyond the chicken egg they might have had for breakfast. One part of the text states simple facts about eggs and each page is filled with vivid illustrations to illuminate these facts. Additionally, for older children or those fascinated by the variety of eggs, there are many little paragraphs and details on ladybug, shark, turtle and so many other types of eggs. You can see how they're marked, hidden, shaped or protected. This is the sort of book you might read in a few minutes with a young child, but an older child might spend hours poring through the pictures and facts learning all about eggs.

An Egg is Quiet

This is a beautiful book. The art and the close look at nature are just beautiful. Made a lovely and different way to say Happy Spring, that was not all about easter gifts and taking eggs, but appreciating nature's gifts of many eggs of all kinds.

An egg is quiet- beautiful book!

This is the most gorgeous book and my daughter loves looking at the pictures and reading the simple yet lovely words. My favorite chinaberry purchase! Totally worth it if you love books!
