A Christmas Angel Collection to Cut and Color

Details

This cut-and-color Christmas Angel Collection is based on works of art from all over the world, dating as far back as the 12th century. Adults could get delightfully lost in coloring in the details and making sure that every outlined feather on every wing is cut perfectly, but children love to color these too! Use felt tip pens, watercolors, colored pencils, or crayons and add glitter or anything else that suits your fancy. These angels could end up being some of the very prettiest ornaments on your tree, centerpieces on your table or mantle, or even beautiful additions to your holiday table place settings, and can be a Christmas tradition that takes on a life of its own. When the holiday season is over, each angel can be unfolded and packed away until next year.

YEA. I've been waiting for these to come back. I thought I was the only one who fell in love with them years ago. Thank you so much.

I'm so delighted you have this book. I bought it many years ago and have been looking for it for a very long time.

Needs better instructions on how to assemble.Or maybe I am just a klutz as I could not get the folds correct.

Perhaps I read this description wrong, but I bought this thinking I could color the angels with our kids, ages 6 and 8. It does not appear to be designed for kids. The pages are just normal paper and the angels are very intricate. I'm sure some kids would enjoy focusing and coloring such tiny spaces but mine just took a look and weren't interested. So the book is still brand new. Maybe a gift for someone this year!

My daughter has been a collector of angels for years and I knew she would enjoy the addition of this sweet book. She was born the first year this was published. Her two children are now old enough and crafty enough to color these angels too!Thank you!

A bit disappointed.Did a lot of experimenting trying to come up with what I considered to be a good result.Guess I was expecting them to be a bit more designed with the person coloring them in mind. The wings are pretty awkward too.

Did not catch my daughter's imagination. Would be a bit difficult to make them look like the illustrations on cover. Perhaps someone with the proper paints and enthusiasm would do them more justice.

Very pretty designs but they are very small with a lot of detail. I will use them, but will first enlarge them in order to see the detail more easily.

Angels are pretty small and very detailed.Good for older kids and adults, but beyond my grand childrens' abilities.

I loved this book

I loved this book of angel ornaments! I got one for my sons and one for my nieces.I did not find this set anywhere else I looked so I was glad Chinaberry had plenty in stock!I loved the international flair and the details of the illustrations. It makes the coloring possibilities even more broad. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because some of the angels were not lined up so when you cut them out, the front or the back got cut off hands or head. This is a great book to buy multiple times to watch how children's creations change over the years.

This is a beautiful book, especially for a child who loves coloring and art. As my daughter has significant visual perception problems & is disabled, it is a bit too intricate for her enjoyment which I hoped it would not be. However, I have 4 grandchildren, and at least one is an art lover. It will be in his Thanksgiving 'getting ready for Christmas' bag in the next couple of years.

These drawings in here

These drawings in here are lovely. It will be great fun to decorate these representations.I didn't realize they come in a black and white format so you can add your own color scheme. The intricacies of the drawings will be fun to plan out color schemes for.I hope my implementations will be as nicely done as what is shown in this picture!

My children are ages 14, 11, and 7. We all love coloring and displaying the angels. True they are very detailed, but with colored pencils or crayons even the youngest child can color, and the detail shows through and looks wonderful. Cutting them out is a bit tricky. We are ordering more copies for ourselves and as gifts!

I ordered this for a 5 year old BUT it will have to wait for when she gets older. The angels are much more detailed but are fabulous and I may just have to color them myself if I can't wait.

I found this book

I found this book to be challenging. The angels are beautiful - but daunting to a young child or one with little patience. This might be a nice project for an Aunt or Grandmother to share with their child.

A lovely book well suited to the artistic child.Drawings were a bit disappointing because of such heavy black lines. Could be a lovely keepsake.I gave it as a gift and have had no feedback as yet.

The Angels are very detailed and would be difficult for youngsters to color. As an adult, I enjoyed coloring them.I found colored markers work better than crayons, pens, and colored pencils.

It looks like a great "after dinner" Thanksgiving Day project for our granddaughters! They love creating projects, and this one will be useful as part of our later Christmas celebration!

IF you like a lot of detail these angels are for you. I haven't tried to color them yet for they look quite intimidating.

Unlike other reviews with

Unlike other reviews with concerns that younger children will not be interested in this, I can assure you my three grandchildren ages 6-9 have often pulled me away to specifically "work on the angel book" together. The six year old is a girl and the eight and nine year olds are boys and they all seem to equally enjoy spending time coloring their own angels and preparing the ornaments for our Christmas tree.It is true that the children do not stay perfectly within the lines and each one has his or her own style but rather than concern myself with whether we are "within the lines" I am going to treasure every single moment that they actually want to spend with me.Thank you for offering such a treasure.

These angels have turned

These angels have turned out to be the most beautiful craft project I've ever done! They ARE very intricate and that is what makes them so lovely. I chose to work with colored pencils and glitter. Each angel took hours to complete and they are spectacular!I am giving them as Christmas gifts this year and, to be honest, I'm reluctant to give them up.The only way I could do it was to order TWO more of the books. The time it takes to color and glitter the angels is well worth it-I plan on decorating my Christmas tree with them for the rest of my life!

I bought 5 of these! I did not buy them for my young children but for my sisters and mother-in-law who love fun projects.Maybe I will start a new Christmas tradition. I just need to decide how I want to color mine. The angels are very rich in small detail so this is a project for those who have some patience or like the intro. says for people OLDER than 10!!I love that each Angel is from a different time period. Love, Love my purchase.

These angels are beautiful.I bought to color and decorate with my 6 year old daughter in mind and I actually put them away for next year.Although she loves to color and draw, the detail on these are many and I didn't think she would fully appreciate them this year.I was so impressed with how lovely they are, but think they would be better for an older art loving child.
