Sometimes it seems that, for our children, everything is a game. Developmentally this makes sense; they learn about the world through playing, imagining and experimenting.
When the playthings we provide "meet them where they are" developmentally, we encourage their healthy mental and physical growth.
Of course, they don't know this. For them, these toys are just a great way to have fun!
