I've used these nappy shorts as a diaper cover for two of my babies so far. They're extremely soft & accommodate bulky prefolds very well. They're not very thick, though, so I'd only recommend them for daytime wear (I find that something thicker is needed for nighttime). Keep in mind that they need to be lanolized before wear!
