This item is made of natural wood that has been lightly coated with a non-toxic finish. When the wood becomes dry over time, or if it comes in frequent contact with water, we recommend the following care: With a dry cotton cloth, apply either a coat of food-grade vegetable oil (such as coconut oil) or a coat of our Beeautiful Polish. Let this sit for up to 8 hrs and wipe off the excess oil with a clean cloth. Repeat as needed.
